Here you'll find me - in the raw. My varied life might make some dizzy trying to follow me but I love it.
I am a piano teacher and a full time teacher at my sprouts' Christian school - teaching 170 students, ages 6 to 17, Music and Spanish.
I am a runner. It's my time to be free in the open air, just me and God. No Ipod for me!
I am a mom to 2 sweet kiddos - 8 year old gal and 10 year old boy - that keep me learning and growing more than any other area in my life.
I am a wife to the man of my dreams (well, he is beyond my dreams) - my best friend and partner in all that I do. He's an advanced math and engineering teacher at his highschool. He teaches guitar, loves his family with tenderness, and never misses a chance to wink at me across a crowded room. I get to cheer him on in his new pursuit as a professional photographer - http://www.coryjoneillphotography.com/
I am committed to a balanced life of organic eating, playing outside in the sunshine, loving our Creator, and loving others. Living cleanly, cheerfully, and in love with Jesus keeps me vibrant, keeps my kids bright eyed, and keeps my husband fully Alive. We can't ever go back to the way we were - and this blog is often focused on these topics of spirit, mind, and body balance.
I tend to smile a lot. It's just how my face rests. Hopefully, God will use me to Scatter His Joy in my world.
Garden updates: from 2011
Herb garden is lucious with: parsley, thyme, oregano, chives, rosemary, and basil
Funny way to garden this summer - plant the starts, set up the auto watering, and pull all the weeds, pile high the grass clippings to keep the weeds down, and walk away, wishing it all good luck!
But we came home to hundreds of tomatoes, at least 50 different winter squashes, and hundreds of potatoes. All organic, yummy, and easy to cold store!
Me
I run. It's where God and I hang out.
On each run, I spend it listening to Him (not an Ipod). It's quiet out there on the road, me and my shoes and the open air.
Welcome to my wandering thoughts collected from miles on the road. This blog seeks to explore anything that relates to a healthier Spirit, Mind, and Body.
